History came alive at AMNS International School on 1 October as students from Classes II–XII explored The Museum on Wheels: The Network of the Past, organised in association with INTACH, Surat, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, Mumbai.
Through replicas of artefacts from the Chinese, Egyptian, Mesopotamian and Indus Valley civilisations, students discovered how ancient societies lived, traded and interacted. A digital presentation on ancient trade routes, including the Silk Route, revealed how goods, ideas and cultures travelled across regions—drawing fascinating connections with the world today.
By bringing artefacts and digital interpretation together, the initiative made ancient history tangible and engaging, enabling students to connect historical knowledge with the world around them.
