Stories don’t just entertain—they connect, inspire, and teach. And when teachers become storytellers, learning comes alive in powerful new ways. With this spirit, AMNS International School hosted a hands-on storytelling workshop for its faculty, led by Dr. Prashant Pareek, a dynamic storyteller trained at Kathalaya – The International Academy of Storytelling, Bengaluru.

The workshop aimed to explore how storytelling can deepen engagement in the classroom, encourage empathy, and spark curiosity. Dr. Pareek guided teachers through a series of interactive activities that were as fun as they were meaningful.

From a warm Thread of Memories activity to vowel-based improvisation scenes and the lively Pattern Walk, every exercise pushed teachers to think creatively, reflect personally, and build stories from the simplest of cues.

By the end, the outcome was visible—teachers left not just with new methods, but with renewed energy to bring human connection and imagination into their everyday teaching. The session was a reminder that behind every good lesson, there’s always a story worth telling.
