11-Dec-2025
On 11 December 2025, AMNS International School hosted an interactive workshop on Effective Parenting for parents of LKG and UKG students. Conducted by Dr. Bhumika Pant and Mr. Milan Dodia from the School’s Wellness Department, the session aimed to build a strong community of parents and counsellors while equipping families with strategies to support the holistic development of their children.
The workshop explored how children learn by observing the world around them, the critical role of communication in shaping expectations, and the importance of applying discipline constructively to foster positive behaviour. Equally emphasised was the need for parents to prioritise their own well-being, recognising that self-care is essential to effective parenting. The session also encouraged the formation of a supportive parent network, where families could share experiences and seek guidance from school counsellors.
An open discussion concluded the workshop, addressing parents’ real-life questions and challenges in raising young children. Participants expressed appreciation for the practical guidance and highlighted their desire for similar sessions in the future.
Through initiatives like this, AMNS International School continues to equip parents with insight and strategies to nurture confident, resilient, and emotionally aware young learners.
