On 26 November 2025, AMNS International School, in collaboration with RIFE Consultancy, hosted an inspiring seminar for Grade 10 students on “Merchant Navy and Related Career Options.” The session offered students a rare glimpse into the life of seafarers, blending practical insights with real-world guidance.
3rd Officers Mr. Kapish Babariya and Mr. Smit Lokhandwala shared captivating stories of life at sea, daily routines, and the challenges and adventures of maritime careers, sparking curiosity and excitement among the students. Mr. Vikrant Joshi of RIFE Consultancy elaborated on diverse career pathways, including roles on board, eligibility, medical requirements, entrance examinations, sponsorship processes, salary structures, and long-term growth opportunities.
With 91 students participating, the seminar not only broadened their understanding of the maritime world but also encouraged them to envision ambitious career paths beyond conventional choices. The event highlighted AMNSIS’s dedication to guiding students towards informed, adventurous, and globally relevant career journeys.
