AMNSIS MUN 6.0: Minds in Motion

AMNSIS MUN 6.0: Minds in Motion

09-Jul-2025

AMNS International School proudly hosted the 6th AMNSIS Model United Nations on July 8 and 9. This two-day simulation ignited young minds as they tackled pressing global issues.

Our delegates dove deep into crucial agendas. The UNHRC committee, featuring Classes IX and X, grappled with the weaponization of citizenship revocation and the humanitarian impact of statelessness. Meanwhile, the UNW committee, with Classes VII and VIII, focused on supporting women and girls in war zones, specifically in Sudan, Ukraine, and Palestine.

These intense discussions, the meticulous drafting of position papers, and the spirited debates all served a vital purpose. They pushed our students to hone essential skills: public speaking, negotiation, and critical thinking. This is exactly why we dedicate two full days to MUN each year—to provide a dynamic platform for our future global leaders.

The energy was palpable across both committees, with a live audience from Classes VI and VII adding to the vibrant atmosphere. For the first time, a Press Conference also challenged selected delegates to respond to our International Press team.
