Reinforcing its tradition of nurturing global citizens and future leaders, AMNS International School successfully hosted the 7th edition of AMNSIS Model United Nations (MUN 7.0) on 8 and 9 July 2026. The conference brought together 76 delegates from Classes VI to X, who stepped into the role of diplomats to deliberate on pressing global issues through the UNHRC and DISEC committees.
The delegates showcased exceptional research, diplomacy, and critical thinking through General Speakers' Lists, moderated caucuses, negotiations, and the drafting of resolutions and working papers. Guided by the Executive Board members Harsha Nahar (XI-B), Vaishnavi Pandey (XI-A), Harshita Verma (XI-A) and Laksh Jain (X-C), participants confidently debated the protection of child rights in conflict regions and the ethical, legal, and strategic implications of autonomous weapon systems.
Kanak Jain (X-C) and Khushi Deepak (VII-A) were adjudged Best Delegates, while Jahnvi Prajapati (X-C) and Ananya Arora (VI-D) received the Best Position Paper Awards. The conference also recognised the outstanding performances of Jehan Gajjar (X-B), Tia Joshi (X-C), Homin Asava (X-A), Mann Trivedi (X-C), Kunj Sharma (VI-B), Labdhi Jain (VII-B), Dhairya Sarawagi (VII-E) and Bhaumik Adnani (VII-D).
The conference concluded with delegates carrying forward not just awards and accolades, but a deeper understanding of global issues, the art of diplomacy, and the confidence to make their voices count.
