AMNSIS Psychology Students Visit Anand Rehabilitation Trust for Experiential Learning

23-Jul-2025

On 16th July 2025, our Class XI-XII Psychology students visited Anand Rehabilitation Trust, gaining real-world insights into their curriculum. They not only observed, but actively played learning games with children with autism, assisted therapists during speech sessions, and witnessed how sensory tools help calm children with ADHD and Down syndrome. These experiences brought their textbook theories about psychological disorders to life.

The therapeutic approaches they'd studied became tangible as they observed speech and occupational therapy sessions. In the sensory rooms, they saw Class XI concepts about attention and perception in practice. This hands-on experience deepened their understanding of individualized care while fostering empathy.

More than academic learning, the visit demonstrated how classroom theories transform lives through compassionate application.
