Our students brought home top honors at the District Level Kala Mahakumbh, a competition for music, art, and dance. Jahnvi Prajapati (IX-C) won first prize in painting, while Vyona Mazumdar (VIII-B) secured second place in Solo Classical Dance (Kathak). Mrunaja Datar (VII-C) earned first place in Hindustani Classical Vocal, and Priyansh Daxini (VI-D) clinched first place in the keyboard. Anaira Shah (VII-C) won second prize in the harmonium. As district winners, Jahnvi, Mrunaja, Priyansh, and Anaira are now eligible to represent the school at the Zonal-level Kala Mahakumbh.
A group song team comprising Aradhya Chowdhary (VIII-B), Devanshi Daswani (VII-B), Zenisha Patel (VI-D), R. Beninal Stacy (VI-A), Disha Kosti (VII-E), Saumya Kulkarni (VIII-C), Pranavi Chaturvedi (VII-A), and Jayani Sarkar (VIII-D) secured Third Place.
Organised by the Government of Gujarat, Kala Mahakumbh promotes creativity, cultural expression, and artistic innovation among young talents. Our students, who qualified at the Taluka level, participated and showcased their skill and dedication.
The competition inspired them to explore new techniques, gain confidence, and celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage. We congratulate all our winners and wish them the very best for the next-level competition.
