AMNSIS Students Discover the Joy of Numbers in Geoalmatic Week

22-Apr-2025

Math left the pages of the textbook and entered everyday life during Geoalmatic Week at AMNS International School, held from 21st to 30th April 2025. Designed by the Mathematics Department, the week aimed to help students see maths not as a subject—but as a story woven through dance, puzzles, logic, and real-life ideas.

Students across all grades brought math to life in creative ways. Relay races with puzzles and number games sparked quick thinking and teamwork. Classical dance and yoga became tools to explore angles and shapes. Vedic Math tricks made calculations seem effortless, while filmmaking showed how ratios and proportions shape what we see on screen. A live hologram demonstration added a touch of science fiction to geometry, and senior students broke down abstract concepts like infinity and π with confidence and ease. Every activity turned math into something visible, tangible, and fun.

Geoalmatic Week did not just make students better at math—it helped them see why math matters. Through every performance, puzzle, and presentation, one thing was clear: curiosity is the best formula of all.
