AMNS International School brought classroom Physics into the heart of industry as the students of Classes XI and XII Science visited Larsen & Toubro Limited – MHI Power Turbine Generator Plant, Hazira, on 18 August 2026. The visit offered them first hand insight into the engineering and technology behind large-scale power generation.
The students attended an expert interaction and toured the plant, where engineers demonstrated the assembly and working of large AC generators.
The experience helped students connect electromagnetism, magnetic fields, and electromagnetic induction to real-world applications, while giving them insight into industrial manufacturing, engineering practices, and workplace safety. What began as concepts on a Physics page came alive on the plant floor, giving students a clearer understanding of how scientific principles translate into powerful engineering solutions.
