AMNSIS Students Storm the Young Indians Parliament with Power, Poise, and Purpose!

22-Jun-2025

When passion meets purpose, young voices become powerful. At the Young Indians Parliament (YIP) hosted by Yi’s Thalir initiative, 18 students from AMNS International School didn’t just participate—they brought the house down with ideas, integrity, and impactful leadership.

YIP, a dynamic two-day event for Classes IX to XII, was designed to mirror the workings of the Indian Parliament. From the very first moment—when students were grouped into seven political parties, brainstormed names, nominated leaders, and took charge of real constituencies—the air was charged with possibility. They stepped into the shoes of lawmakers, but spoke from the heart of the youth.

From policies on mental health to digital literacy, and from unemployment to sustainability, our students presented solutions rooted in reality. The debates were intense, the energy unmatched—and so were the outcomes.

Proud Moments for AMNSIS:

  • Laksh Jain (XC): Best Parliamentarian
  • Meet Agarwal (XB): Best Leadership Award
  • Vaishnavi Pandey (XA): Most Persuasive Policy Award

The real win? A generation that isn’t waiting for change—they’re becoming it. The event also gave students a chance to engage with mentors and policy enthusiasts, helping them see governance as not just a subject, but a shared responsibility.

With regional selections around the corner, we wait with bated breath. But one thing is certain—democracy found its next torchbearers, and they wore the AMNSIS badge.
