On 2 August 2025, students of AMNS International School shone at Kala Mahakumbh 2025, a prestigious cultural initiative organised by the Gujarat State Sangeet Natak Akademi under the Department of Youth Services and Cultural Activities, Government of Gujarat. The objective of Kala Mahakumbh is to identify, encourage, and celebrate young talent in performing and visual arts, while preserving India’s rich cultural traditions.
In Folk Dance (Rajasthani Chirmi), our vibrant team - Siya Mansara (6D), Khushi Thakkar (6E), Sanvi Mistri (7A), Kayra Wadhwani (7A), Anika (7B), Pahal Baid (7B), Hiranyaa Sanchhar (7B), Maahi Jangid (7D), Kashish Joshi (7D), Foram Mevawala (7E), Aaradhya Singhania (8A), and Mihira Sharma (8B) - won 1st Place and qualified for the District Level.
In On-the-Spot Painting, Jahnvi Prajapati (9C) secured 1st Place in the 15–20 years category with her creative canvas, while Shristi Singh (8C) bagged 1st Place in the 6–14 years category. Both qualified for the District Level. Abhilasha Patidar (8A) also impressed with a 3rd Place in the 15–20 years group.
In Solo Classical Dance (Bharatanatyam), Diva Thakkar (7B) performed gracefully on Shiva Kriti and won 2nd Place.
In Group Singing, our team of eight from Grades 6 – 8: Aradhya Chowdhary (8B), Devanshi Daswani (7C), Zenisha Patel (6D), R. Beninal Stacy (6A), Disha Koshti (7E), Saumya Kulkarni (8C), Pranavi Chaturvedi (7A), and Jayani Sarkar (8D) - performed the patriotic संघ गणगीत – “कोटि-कोटि कण्ठों ने गाया माँ का गौरव गान”, blending five raags, and earned the 2nd Runner-Up position, and Anairaa Shah (7C) won the Second Position in Harmonium Competition with special praise for her skills.
