23-Jul-2025
AMNS International School, Surat, hosted its Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025–26 on 23 July. It was a proud day as the newly elected Student Council took the stage, ready to lead with purpose and conviction.
This year, the selection truly gave students a voice and a chance to lead. Every candidate had a real opportunity to prove themselves from personal interviews that tested their clarity and confidence, to speeches where they shared their vision, followed by voting by peers and teachers. The entire process reflected fairness and encouraged active student participation.
As names were announced, each young leader received a sash and a moment of well-earned applause. The sense of pride in the assembly arena was unmistakable.
Our Principal ma’am, Ms. Sunita Matoo, congratulated the council and reminded them that true leadership lies in actions, not badges. She urged them to stay grounded, work as a team, and lead by example.
Having a student council is about more than holding positions, it’s about building a school culture where responsibility is shared and leadership is visible in everyday actions. These students are the ones others will turn to, learn from, and work with. That’s what leadership at AMNSIS is meant to be.
