On 15 April 2026, AMNS International School organised a Career Awareness Session for Grade X students, introducing them to opportunities in the Merchant Navy and the wider maritime industry.
The session offered a clear overview of life at sea, highlighting the unique blend of adventure, technical expertise, and global exposure that the field offers. Students were introduced to key career pathways across the Deck, Engine, and Saloon departments, along with insights into roles, responsibilities, and growth prospects.
Practical aspects such as eligibility criteria, training requirements, and entrance procedures for maritime academies were explained in a structured manner, helping students understand the pathway from school to sea.
This interactive session was an important step toward broadening career awareness, enabling learners to explore diverse possibilities and make informed academic choices.
