On 07 January 2026, Class VI students visited the Hazira Gram Panchayat to gain first-hand insight into the functioning of local self-government.
The visit was designed to help students understand how elected representatives make decisions related to development, sanitation, and welfare initiatives at the village level. They learned about the roles and responsibilities of the Sarpanch and Panchayat members, observing how governance operates beyond textbooks.
The field experience enabled students to connect classroom learning with real-life democratic practices. It strengthened their understanding of community development, civic duties, and decision-making processes, while nurturing awareness, participation, and a growing sense of social responsibility.
The visit proved to be a meaningful step in transforming civics from theory into lived experience.
