Grade 10 Band Competition: Where Voices Met and Ideas Played

12-Jun-2025

The Grade 10 Band Competition held on 12 June 2025 wasn’t just about who sang best—it was about how well students listened, adapted, and showed up for each other. That’s the real win.

Held in the community hall, the event saw spirited participation from all three sections of grade X. Each team performed three songs, with at least one being their own creation. From meaningful lyrics to surprising instrument choices, the stage became a space for trying new things and owning them.

XA’s set included Aashayein, Burn It to the Ground, and an original piece rooted in nature. XB brought in personal experiences, especially the pressure of exams, through a self-written song alongside Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Bas Sochne Se Kuch Na Hoga. XC stood out with a tight set—Meri Maa, If Everyone Cared, and a bold original titled Blood, Sweat, and Games.

Class XC was declared the winner, but every group walked away with something more valuable—proof that when effort is shared, the outcome always matters.
